The set from Revell lets you build a tall model of the rocket and, thanks to the height of the finished piece, it makes a striking centerpiece of a collection. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted and suits more advanced builders.
The Saturn V was an American three-stage launch vehicle that carried crews to the Moon in the Apollo program. It was one of the most powerful rockets in history; its first stage was powered by engines running on liquid oxygen and kerosene. The rocket made the first human landing on the Moon possible in 1969.
Glue the cylindrical parts of the stages carefully and sand the seams down so that they do not show on the smooth surface. The characteristic black and white areas call for precise masking; apply the paint with an airbrush and add the markings from the decals. Because of the height of the finished model, think about a stable base or mounting.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
