U.S. Paratrooper Boots WWII (1:16) is a resin set of the jump boots of the American army of the Second World War, an accessory for dioramas and large figures.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from Royal Model represents a pair of jump boots of the American army from the Second World War in 1:16 scale. It is a resin accessory for dioramas and large figures, not a kit. The casting of quality polyurethane resin faithfully captures the characteristic high boots with buckles, typical of American paratroopers.
The boots are the result of historical as well as anatomical study of the real subject and serve to round a scene out, to bring a figure to life or as a replacement for parts. In the large 1:16 scale the detail of the leather and the lacing comes into its own.
Wash the casting clean of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a primer before painting; build the leather up with shades of brown, do the buckles and fittings in a silver or steel color and tune the wear with drybrushing. Do the sanding with respiratory protection.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other material are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
