An injection-molded plastic kit of the legendary Mini Cooper in circuit racing trim, in 1:24 scale from the proven Tamiya car range. The model captures a Mini prepared for circuit racing and offers a well detailed engine, interior and the typical racing features.
Since its launch at the end of the 1950s the Mini has been an icon thanks to its transverse front engine and front-wheel drive, which gave the small car surprising agility. In the Cooper racing version the car dominated the circuit and rally scenes of the 1960s and became one of the most successful small racing cars of its time.
The body is best sprayed with a gloss paint over a filler primer and left to harden properly before the decals go on. The engine and the interior come alive with shaded details and metallic shades. Glue the clear parts with a cement that does not fog.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
