An injection-molded plastic kit of the classic Japanese Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-R coupe in the KPGC10 version of 1971 in 1:24 scale. The model is meant to be assembled and painted and offers a detailed body as well as a well worked-out interior of this iconic car. It is a popular subject among collectors of Japanese automotive classics.
The Skyline 2000 GT-R of the C10 generation, nicknamed Hakosuka, that is the boxy Skyline, is among the most legendary Japanese sports cars. The two-door KPGC10 version, powered by an inline six-cylinder engine with DOHC valve gear, won its reputation through a run of victories in domestic racing at the turn of the 1960s and 1970s. The car is a symbol of the beginnings of the GT-R name.
The plastic is glued with thin modeling cement, the joints are sanded and the body is treated with a primer before painting. For a faithful look, a gloss varnish on the body and polishing work well, while the interior calls for flat shades and fine detail. Leave the chrome and clear parts until the end so that they do not get damaged.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
