The 300 gallon centerline fuel tank with pylon for the F-16, Type 1 is an accessory set from Reskit in 1:32 scale. It adds to the equipment of a model already under construction and does not make up a kit of its own.

This Reskit accessory adds an auxiliary tank on the fuselage centerline, together with its pylon, to a large F-16 model. The set is meant to refine a finished build and does not replace the aircraft itself. The manufacturer designates this version as Type 1 and states that it is made by 3D printing.
The single-engine F-16 practically always flies longer routes with extra fuel. A three hundred gallon tank carried on the fuselage centerline is the most common choice both for ferry flights and for missions where the wing stations are taken up by weapons. Before hard maneuvering the tank is jettisoned, so in period photographs you will see it mainly on aircraft in transit and on patrol flights.
The smooth body of the tank reveals every imperfection, so sand the surface with very fine paper before painting and check it against the light. Choose the shade according to the particular unit, because the tanks were sprayed separately and often differed slightly from the fuselage. Once dry, pick out the parting seams and add traces of service use around the filler cap and at the attachment to the pylon.
The centerline tank is shorter and fuller than the wing tanks, so the two versions cannot be mistaken for each other on the model. On the same station on the fuselage centerline some aircraft carry equipment pods instead of fuel, so the configuration differs from one aircraft to the next and it is worth comparing it with a photograph of the particular machine.
