This is a detailed resin 3D-printed set of two AGM-142 Popeye 2 / Have Lite missiles in 1:32 scale from the maker Reskit. The set is not an airplane model but an accessory of underwing armament with which aircraft models carrying this guided air-to-ground missile can be fitted out. Thanks to 3D printing the missiles have a clean surface with crisply rendered panels, control surfaces and warhead.
The AGM-142 (Popeye in Israeli service, Have Nap / Have Lite in the American designation) is a long-range guided air-to-ground missile with electro-optical guidance, intended for precise strikes on ground targets. The Popeye 2 / Have Lite version is a lightened variant for use on lighter carriers. The missile was carried in the armament of types such as the F-16I, the Kfir, the Mirage 2000C and the B-52H.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, cut them from the print supports and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand with respiratory protection. Paint the missiles with an airbrush and fine-tune the scheme according to the carrier you are fitting them to.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
