A set of six AN-M64 bombs of 500 pounds in 1:32 scale from the Ukrainian maker ResKit. Printed armament for American and British aircraft of the Second World War and the Korean conflict.
Responsibility details are not available.
Six bodies of the AN-M64 bomb will fill the bomb bay or the underwing pylons of a large model. The parts were made by 3D printing, so they have distinct rivet lines, finely suggested casing joints and a separately printed tail cone. The maker is ResKit from Kyiv.
The AN-M64 was a general-purpose high-explosive bomb of a nominal weight of 500 pounds and it became the backbone of the daylight bombing campaign over Europe and the Pacific. It was carried by heavy bombers, medium aircraft and fighter-bombers, which used it against communications and field fortifications. After 1950 it appeared again over Korea, and British squadrons came to it through the Lend-Lease program. The shape of the body and the arrangement of the tail surfaces stayed practically unchanged throughout its service, so a single mold covers a very long period.
Cut the print supports off with a sharp blade and level the spots with a fine file. The surface takes a water-based as well as a synthetic primer; the typical look comes from a dark olive with pronounced colored bands for the explosive filling on the casing. Cyanoacrylate glue has proved itself for the joint to the pylon. A matte coat applied from a greater distance evens the shade out at the end.
In the package you will find the bombs alone. Paints, glue and the aircraft do not belong to them.
