A decal sheet for a model of the British BAe Hawk T.1A jet trainer in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Hawk is a British jet trainer with a two-seat tandem cockpit that provides advanced training in the Royal Air Force. The designation T.1A belongs to a modified variant of these aircraft. What usually attracts modelers to the Hawk is precisely the variety of finishes and markings the individual aircraft have carried during their long service.
The sheet is done in 1:32 scale and is intended for a model of the Hawk T.1A. Compare the range of markings with the illustration on the packaging. Other sheets carry the same name and differ in their part number and contents, so this one is identified by the manufacturer's part number X32034.
With decal sheets this procedure has proved itself: first coat the place where the decal will go with gloss varnish, so that no white patches form under the film. Cut the decal out as close to the print as possible and dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds. As soon as it releases from the paper, move it into place, blot the excess water with a paper towel and let it dry. A decal softener will help to settle the decal into the recesses and rivets. Finally coat the whole part with a matte or semi-matte varnish so that the gloss layer under the decal disappears. Before you soak the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is a self-adhesive version; self-adhesive film is ruined once it has been soaked.
The package contains the decal sheet. The kit, paints, varnishes and decal softener are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
