Bf 109E-4 3D printed colored interior 1:32 (Quinta Studio) is a set of three-dimensional decals on backing paper, which brings realistic instrument detail into the cockpit without photo-etch and painting.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of colored 3D printed decals for the cockpit of the Bf 109E-4 fighter in 1:32 scale from the maker Quinta Studio. It is not a model of an aircraft but a detail accessory for models of the Bf 109E-4 in this scale. The detail is printed in a thick raised layer directly on the backing decal paper and once applied it looks three-dimensional and faithful.
The Bf 109E-4 was among the best-known versions of the Emil and became famous from the fighting over the Channel and in the Battle of Britain in 1940. It was powered by the Daimler-Benz DB 601 engine and carried cannon armament in the wings. The reworked shape of the canopy is characteristic as well. Thanks to the glazing of the cockpit the interior is clearly visible.
The elements are applied the wet way like a decal: cut the part from the sheet, soak it in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slide it off the backing paper into place. They have no adhesive layer of their own and hold on a gloss clear coat, so sand the surface of the kit smooth beforehand and go over it with a varnish of the Future/Klear or Tamiya X-22 type; on broken-up spots a drop of super glue helps. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as the chemicals attack the printed resin. The set usually brings the instrument panel, the side panels, the belts and small placards.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The model of the aircraft itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
