About product

Reskit 1:32 Martin-Baker Mk.10B ejection seats (Hawk T.1A)

A set of two 3D printed resin ejection seats intended for models of the Hawk T.1A jet trainer in 1:32 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a replacement detail accessory that replaces the more coarsely rendered seats from the box with finely worked parts with a faithful frame structure and harness.

The real subject

The Martin-Baker Mk.10 is a British rocket-assisted ejection seat capable of saving the pilot even at zero altitude and zero speed, widespread in a range of Western combat and training aircraft. The Mk.10B version serves in the Hawk trainer.

Usage tips

First wash the parts free of uncured resin in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap. Separate the print supports with a fine cut, not by breaking them off. Bond with cyanoacrylate (super glue) and sand with respiratory protection. Before finishing we recommend spraying the parts with a primer.

Who it is for

  • Builders of detailed models in 1:32 scale
  • Modelers who want a faithful open cockpit
  • Collectors of jet trainers

The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base kit are not included.
