This is a resin replacement for the main landing gear wheels, not an aircraft kit. The set offers a more faithful shape of the tire, a fine tread and hub detail compared with the parts from the base kit. Intended for models of the F-105 Thunderchief (the F-105A, B, C and D versions) in 1:32 scale.
The Republic F-105 Thunderchief, nicknamed the Thud, was an American supersonic fighter-bomber. It was the largest single-seat single-engine combat aircraft of its day, and during the war in Vietnam it carried the main weight of the strike missions over the north. The rugged landing gear carried the considerable weight of the machine, so a faithful rendering of the wheels captures its character well.
Wash the parts free of the mold release agent and separate them from the casting blocks. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Separate tires and hubs make painting and masking easier. Protect your airways while sanding.
The set contains resin parts only. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
