An injection-molded plastic kit of the modern advanced jet trainer Hawk 100 in 1:32 scale from Kinetic. The kit offers optional extended or retracted flaps, an openable air brake, detailed landing gear bays, intakes with compressor blades and a photo-etched sheet. The decals cover several schemes for different air arms and for the manufacturer demonstrator. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Hawk is a British advanced jet trainer and light combat aircraft. The 100 series is the modernized version with improved avionics and combat capability, operated by several countries. Thanks to its reliability and low operating costs it became one of the most widely used jet trainers in its class.
Use liquid cement on the plastic joints and glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a primer before painting. An airbrush helps with both single-color and more colorful training schemes. The cockpit and the bays are worth picking out with a wash. Apply the decals over a gloss base.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
