A detailed resin set of landing gear wheels for a model of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109E fighter in 1:32 scale from Reskit. The wheels are done as weighted — with a realistically flattened contact patch on the tire, as if the weight of the aircraft were resting on them. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory that replaces the simplified plastic wheels from the basic kit.
The resin castings bring a sharper tread, a fine texture on the rims and the true shape of a weighted tire, which molded plastic parts usually cannot match. The set is designed for the widely available Bf 109E plastic kits in this scale (among others Dragon/Cyber Hobby, Trumpeter and Eduard) — check the particular compatibility on the packaging.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, separate them from the casting blocks and clean them up. They are glued with cyanoacrylate. Sand resin with respiratory protection. It is best to paint the wheels separately and to point the flattened area square to the ground.
This is a resin accessory set, not an aircraft model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; paints, glue and the basic model are not included in the package.
