The OV-10 (A, C) Bronco cockpit in the detailed edition for 1:32 scale, intended for Kitty Hawk and Zimimodel kits. Besides the pilot's station, the name also mentions the landing gear, its bays and weighted wheels.
Responsibility details are not available.
Reskit designates this set as the detailed version and, besides the pilot's station itself, includes in it the landing gear legs, its bays and wheels with a weighted effect. The set is intended for Kitty Hawk and Zimimodel kits. Compared with the basic edition it is a more extensive variant of the same scope; exactly how the two differ is not stated here.
The Bronco was built around a short pod with tandem seats and around two tail booms with the horizontal tail surface between them. Turboprop power and a short takeoff run allowed it to work from improvised surfaces close to the front. From there the crew directed air support, watched movement on the ground and, if needed, used armament from the external pylons. It was precisely because of this role that the aircraft had exceptionally extensive glazing around the cockpit, which on a model practically demands a properly worked interior.
Before gluing it is a good idea to rinse the parts and let them dry properly. Casting remnants are separated with a saw, not with nippers, so that the material does not crack. It is sensible to finish and fit the pilot's station before the two halves of the pod are glued together. It also pays to keep testing dry whether the installation prevents the shells from closing. The finished assembly is then just refined with a shade and light edge highlighting.
