This accessory is not a model of the aircraft but a color replacement for the instrument panel and the panels of a cockpit. The Hungarian manufacturer Red Fox Studio makes it as a layered film with a raised 3D relief, colored completely including the scales, the lettering and the warning lights, with an imitation of the reflection of the glass covers of the dials. The set is intended for models of the P-51D Mustang in 1:32 scale.
The product is intended for the Tamiya kit. That is bought separately.
The North American P-51D Mustang was an American fighter of the Second World War with a Packard Merlin engine, famous for its long range and for a bubble canopy with an excellent view. It escorted bomber formations deep over enemy territory and is among the best known fighters of the time. Its cockpit has a clearly laid out instrument panel, which the set captures faithfully.
Cut the parts out, degrease the area and glue them with a drop of cyanoacrylate glue. The relief will stand fine washes for emphasis, oil as well as acrylic. The film can be bent slightly so that it sits against the shape of the cockpit tub.
This is a cockpit accessory. The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
