Eduard 1:32 Panavia Tornado IDS is a set of pre-cut self-adhesive masks for the glazing and the wheels of a model of the Tornado IDS combat aircraft in 1:32 scale. It is an accessory for a kit, not a model.

A mask set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for a model of the Panavia Tornado IDS in 1:32 scale. Eduard makes these sets from thin kabuki type masking paper, which follows curved surfaces well and leaves no adhesive when lifted. The masks are die-cut in advance to the shape of the individual glazing frames, so you only have to peel them off and lay them on. The package contains masking material only, with no plastic or resin parts.
The cockpit of the two-seat Tornado has a canopy divided by several frames, and in 1:32 scale every inaccuracy is clearly visible. Pre-cut masks hold a crisp paint edge and save time compared with cutting tape by hand. Sets of this type also tend to include masks for the wheels, so that the tire and the hub can be sprayed separately; check the particular extent in the package. At Eduard the variant without the TFace designation is usually meant for the outer side of the glazing, while the variant with that designation also includes masks for the inside of the cockpit.
Degrease the glass before masking and let it dry. Lay the mask on and press it down all around with a soft tool: a leaking edge is the most common cause of paint seeping under. Spray thin coats and rather more passes. Lift the mask with tweezers shortly after the paint has dried, pulling it back over itself at an angle. If the model is meant for a more modern finish with a gloss coat under the decals, count on lifting the masks before that varnish goes on.
This is not a kit. The set contains masks only: the model, paints and glue are not included in the package. Before buying, check that the set matches your particular Tornado IDS kit in 1:32 scale.
