The real subject

The Albatros D.III was one of the key German fighters of the First World War; its improved license version was built for the Austro-Hungarian army by the Oeffag company. These machines used wheels with covered spoking, and a faithful reproduction of them visibly raises the standard of a model.

Use and tips

• Use super glue (cyanoacrylate) for gluing; resin will not join with ordinary cement for plastic.
