Aber 1:35 90 mm M-36 barrel with a Y shaped muzzle brake is a turned metal barrel without a mantlet cover for the American M47 Patton tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
A turned metal replacement barrel in 1:35 scale from the Polish maker Aber for the American M47 Patton tank. The 90 mm (M-36) barrel ends in a muzzle brake in the shape of the letter Y and is made in the version without the canvas mantlet cover. The precisely machined metal replaces the plastic barrel from the kit and guarantees perfect alignment and crisp geometry of the muzzle.
The M47 Patton was an American medium tank from the beginning of the 1950s, armed with a 90 mm gun. It served with the US Army and with a number of NATO allies and became one of the most widespread Western tanks of its day. The muzzle brake of the gun differed in shape between the individual versions.
The metal barrel only needs cleaning and seating in the mantlet; glue it with cyanoacrylate glue. Metal holds paint better once degreased and primed. Thanks to the weight and the precision of a turned barrel, the model will not bend easily and the muzzle stays regularly round.
It is a replacement barrel, not a complete model. The base kit is not included in the package.
