1:35 ALLIED ROAD SIGNS WWII. EUROPEAN THEATRE OF OPERATIONS

MiniArt Allied Road Signs of the Second World War (1:35)

A plastic accessory set, not a vehicle model. It contains a set of Allied military road and direction signs used in the European theater during the Second World War in 1:35 scale. The injection-molded parts of the boards and the posts are completed by a decal sheet with period lettering and symbols, so straight out of the box you can build faithful fittings for a field scene.

What the set is for

The signs serve to bring dioramas and display cases with Second World War vehicles to life. Signposts, direction markers and warning boards give a scene a story and a scale and naturally tie the vehicles, the figures and the terrain into one whole.

Building and painting tips

• the boards and the posts are glued with a thin cement for plastic
• once the base is painted, apply the decals into a gloss varnish and then matte it down
• set the wood and the metal apart in shade and bring them out with a wash and a dry brush
• a light weathering and dust settle the signs naturally into the terrain

Who the set is for

For diorama builders and modelers of military vehicles who want to give their scene authentic period details.

This is an accessory set, not a vehicle model. The base vehicle, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
