This is a set of wet (waterslide) decals in 1:24 scale that transfers onto a plastic model of the BMW M3 E30 the complete racing scheme of the car of the Linder Motorsport team with the sponsor Jägermeister from the German touring car championship (DTM) of the 1992 season. The manufacturer is Decalcas. It is not a kit but an accessory with which you finish the car in one particular historical form.
The BMW M3 E30 is among the legendary touring racers. The Linder Motorsport cars in the orange Jägermeister livery started in the 1992 DTM with the drivers Armin Hahne and Wayne Gardner under the racing numbers 19 and 20. The characteristic orange color with the racing numbers and sponsor lettering is among the best known motorsport schemes of that time.
Apply the decals over a smooth gloss finish, which ensures adhesion and prevents silvering. Soak the part briefly, slide it onto the surface and blot the excess water. For perfect adhesion to the pressings of the bodywork a decal softener helps. Once everything has dried, give the whole car a coat of clear varnish.
The set contains the decals and the instructions only; the model itself, the paints and the varnish are not included in the package.
