This detail set from the Japanese maker FineMolds, from the Nano Aviation range, holds a set of ultra-thin seat belts for the cockpits of the modern American carrier fighters of the F-14 Tomcat and F/A-18 Hornet series in 1:72 scale. The belts are made of a flexible plastic material, so they are glued with ordinary cement for plastics and painted with standard modeling paints. It is not an airplane model but an accessory to a finished kit.
Separate the belts carefully, shape them over the edges of the seat and glue them down. Thanks to the plastic base you can warm them gently and shape them into a natural sag. We recommend painting the seat first and adding the belts afterwards.
This is an accessory to a model. The base kit and the paints are not included in the package.
