A set of turned metal barrels for the British First World War Mark IV Female tank in 1:35 scale from Aber. A detail accessory, not a stand-alone kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a set of turned metal barrels for the British Mark IV tank in the Female variant, from the First World War, in 1:35 scale, from Aber. It is not a vehicle model but a group of precise metal machine gun barrels that replace the plastic parts on a model. It is intended for models of the Mark IV Female tank.
The Mark IV was one of the most important British tanks of the First World War. Unlike the Male version, the Female was armed with machine guns alone and was meant above all to fight off infantry. Mark IV tanks became famous above all at the Battle of Cambrai in 1917.
The turned machine gun barrels have a faithful profile and bore and need neither drilling nor cleaning up of seams. Separate the parts from the casting stubs, degrease them and bond them with super glue. Prime the metal surface before painting.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
