About product

AH-64 Apache late pylons 1:35 (Reskit)

The set brings a pair of late pylons for a model of the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter in 1:35 scale. The parts are produced by 3D printing from quality resin and have finer surface detail than the usual injection-molded parts. This is not a helicopter kit but an accessory for a more advanced build.

The real subject

The AH-64 Apache is an American two-seat attack helicopter intended for fighting armored vehicles and ground targets. On its stub wing pylons it carries guided missiles, rocket launchers and gun armament. The late version of the pylons corresponds to upgraded machines of later production batches, so it suits a faithful build of newer versions.

Building and painting tips

Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); wear respiratory protection while sanding. Apply a primer before painting, then a flat finish with an airbrush, and bring out the details with a wash and pigments.

Who the set is for

  • For modelers building late versions of the AH-64 Apache in 1:35 scale
  • For more advanced builders used to working with resin
  • For collectors of finely detailed helicopter models

The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as resin parts. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.

No, it is an add-on detail set. You need the base model in 1:35 scale separately.

These are 3D-printed resin parts, they are glued with cyanoacrylate glue and suit more experienced modelers.
