An injection-molded plastic kit of the British FV510 Warrior infantry fighting vehicle in the TES(H) configuration, 1:35 scale, from Meng. It is a richly equipped modern kit: it contains workable suspension, workable tracks with an assembly jig, a metal gun barrel, photo-etched parts and a mask for painting the road wheels. The hatches can be built open and the transparent parts are molded in clear plastic.
The FV510 Warrior is the main British tracked infantry fighting vehicle. It entered service in 1988 and took part in operations in Iraq, in the Balkans and in Afghanistan. The TES(H) designation refers to a standard of additional protection and equipment for deployment in Afghanistan: the vehicle received add-on armor and a range of field modifications that gave it its characteristically rugged look.
Paint the running gear and the interior before you close up the hull. Assemble the workable tracks on the jig supplied and seat the metal gun barrel carefully. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue and the plastic with thin cement. Use the mask supplied for clean painting of the road wheels. Washes and dust pigments for mud effects suit the weathering of a modern vehicle.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
