Mantis Miniatures D.A.K. Kübelwagen Crew (1:35) are unpainted resin figures of an Afrikakorps vehicle crew for experienced modelers.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains unpainted figures of the crew of the light Kübelwagen field car, cast in resin in 1:35 scale. The figures are designed to complete a model of the vehicle and a whole desert scene, and because of the fine castings they suit more advanced modelers. The manufacturer is the Polish brand Mantis Miniatures, which specializes in resin figures.
The subjects are soldiers of the German Afrikakorps (D.A.K.) from the fighting in North Africa during the Second World War. The crew is captured in the typical tropical uniforms and in poses matching the driving and the handling of an open vehicle. The group combines ideally with a model of a light field car and with the accessories of a desert battlefield.
First wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and protect your airways while sanding. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and apply a base coat (primer) before painting. Skin, tropical uniforms and equipment come out best with layered shades, a wash into the folds and a dry brush.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin casting. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
