About product

Fenders for the T-34 mod. 42-44 1:35 (Voyager Model)

This universal set in 1:35 scale from the Chinese maker Voyager Model is not a model in its own right but a photo-etched detail accessory. It replaces the thick plastic fenders (track guards) of the Soviet T-34 tank from the production period 1942 to 1944 with thin photo-etched parts. These look more faithful by their thickness and allow a realistic rendering of bent, dented or missing sections, typical of combat-worn T-34s.

The real subject

The T-34 was the key Soviet medium tank of the Second World War. Its pressed fenders were often crumpled or torn away in the field - photo-etched sheet will imitate that more faithfully than thick plastic.

Building tips

Fit the photo-etched fenders to the shape of the hull, suggest any denting carefully and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Suitable for modelers with experience of photo-etched parts.

Who the set is for

  • Builders of Soviet T-34s in 1:35
  • Anyone interested in realistically worn fenders
  • Modelers with experience of photo-etched parts
  • Universal use across T-34 kits

The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.

FAQ

No. These are photo-etched fenders. You need a base plastic T-34 kit to go with them.

Thin photo-etched sheet matches the thickness to scale and makes it possible to suggest bent or damaged fenders realistically.

The set is universal (For All) for the T-34 of the period 1942 to 1944; fitting may call for small adjustments.
