The model offers a richly broken-down chassis, a well-worked engine compartment and cab; depending on the box, some elements such as the doors or the hood can be built in the open as well as the closed position. Crew figures are included as well.
The G7107 was a light truck in the 1.5 ton class with 4x4 drive, built in the United States during the Second World War. Vehicles of this line were supplied to the Allies in large numbers under the Lend-Lease program and served extensively with the Red Army too. They were used as a universal means of transport for troops, materiel and light weapons and were among the typical motorized vehicles of the war period.
Because of the number of parts, follow the instructions and work in subassemblies — first the chassis, the engine and the cab, and only then the body. Use liquid cement on the plastic, treat the surface with a primer and spray with an airbrush. The wooden body comes out well with color modulation and a light wash emphasizing the texture of the planks; dust and mud pigments suit the fenders and the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
