Responsibility details are not available.
A set of plastic figures in 1:35 scale from the Ukrainian maker MiniArt. It holds five figures of a German tank crew caught at work on a vehicle, that is in natural working poses, and with them toolboxes, individual tools and two buckets. The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted as parts on sprues. It is an accessory for a scene, not a model of a vehicle.
Servicing armored vehicles was a daily and time-consuming part of life in tank units: checking the running gear, changing track links, topping up fluids, cleaning weapons. It is precisely these everyday activities that give a diorama scale and a story, because they show vehicles moving through time rather than merely parked. The set is handled factually, as a scene of technical work, and any vehicle of matching scale and period is enough to make use of it.
Clean the mold parting lines on the faces and hands as carefully as you can before painting, because later those marks are left uncovered. Set the figures dry against the vehicle or on the base first, so that their stance matches the actual activity and their hands reach where they should. Build the uniforms up from a base shade through a wash into the folds to a fine dry brush, and the skin the other way round, from a darker tone toward the highlights. Leave the tools and the buckets moderately worn, because exaggerated rust looks unconvincing on equipment that has been in use only briefly.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the vehicle are not included in the package.
