The second part of a decal sub-series devoted to the uniform markings of the Wehrmacht ground forces of the Second World War period. It is an accessory for figures in 1:35 scale, not a kit. The number of the part is given directly in the name, so the item can be told apart from the other parts of the sub-series.
A figure in 1:35 scale is barely fifty millimeters tall and a patch on its sleeve works out at a fraction of a millimeter. Hand painting at this size cannot hold the shape or a sharp edge, but a decal can. Markings also work on a figure as a reference point for the viewer: they say what kind of soldier this is without the need for a label by the display case. On dioramas with several figures it also pays to match the markings across the whole scene, so that the figures read as one whole and not as a random group.
