This resin set contains German twenty-liter fuel cans in 1:35 scale, made to the early production pattern of 1938. It is a diorama accessory and vehicle load, not a kit. The famous German standard can (Wehrmacht-Einheitskanister) was created in the second half of the 1930s in the town of Schwelm and became the model for later cans all over the world. The castings faithfully capture the characteristic pressed ribs, the triple handle and the closure.
German jerry cans belong to the iconic equipment of Wehrmacht vehicles. Placed on fenders, in racks or scattered around a diorama, they immediately add credibility to a scene. The early 1938 pattern suits vehicles from the beginning of the war.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent residue and separate them from the casting blocks. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint with an airbrush or a brush and add patina, rust and period markings. Protect your airways while sanding.
This is an add-on resin set. Glue, paints and the vehicle model are not included in the package.
