A set of colored three-dimensional decals for the interior of the HH-60H helicopter kit by Kitty Hawk in 1:35 scale. It fills out the cockpit and the inner compartment with colored detail that would otherwise have to be painted laboriously. The helicopter model is not included in the package.

The real subject

The HH-60H Rescue Hawk was a helicopter of the US Navy intended for the rescue of aircrew in combat conditions and for the support of special forces. It differed from the antisubmarine versions of the H-60 family precisely in the equipment of its inner compartment, because it had to take in the people being rescued along with their gear. On a model that compartment is usually visible, whether through open sliding doors or in a build with the rescue hoist lowered.

How to use the set

• Use it on a finished but not yet closed interior of the model.
• The decals belong on the panels, consoles and walls of the inner compartment.
• In the large 1:35 scale the cabin is roomy, so the colored detail stands out with no further work.
• Apply them step by step and keep testing the seating of the adjoining parts.
• The versions of the H-60 family differ in their interiors, which is why the set is aimed straight at the HH-60H variant.
