The Merkava Mk.4M in 1:35 scale, a plastic kit of the Israeli main battle tank with the Trophy active protection system. Made by Meng.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Israeli main battle tank Merkava Mk.4M in 1:35 scale from Meng. It is a new tooling with rich detail: working suspension on the running gear, tracks assembled from links, clear parts for the optics and precise photo-etched components. The M in the designation refers to the integrated Trophy active protection system.
The Merkava is a family of Israeli main battle tanks with an unusual layout: the engine is mounted at the front, which raises the protection of the crew in the rear and allows entry from behind. The Mk.4 is the latest generation of this family. The Mk.4M build carries the Trophy active protection system, which can intercept and neutralize incoming anti-tank missiles before they hit the vehicle. Mk.4M tanks serve with Israeli armored units and are fitted with the Trophy system as standard.
Assemble and seat the running gear and the tracks before you close the hull; on a finished model they are hard to reach. Link tracks and working suspension allow a realistic stance on the terrain of a diorama. Bond the fine photo-etched parts and the clear optics with super glue so that the transparent surfaces are not fogged. Apply the base with an airbrush; the single-color Israeli finish comes alive with lightened surfaces, highlighted edges and weathering, with dust and mud pigments on the running gear and washes in the recesses.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
