A corner segment of a brick wall in 1:35 scale: the Israeli wall corner from the Italian brand Royal Model. An element of a scene from the built-up areas of the Middle East.
Responsibility details are not available.
A corner piece of an enclosing wall in 1:35 from the Italian brand Royal Model. It is not a kit of a vehicle or a figure but a building element of a tableau: a corner for a figure to lean against, for an armored vehicle to park behind, or that closes off the edge of a street. The scale matches ordinary kits of equipment in the same ratio, so the height of the wall relative to a figure comes out believably.
The built-up areas of Israeli towns and settlements rest on a combination of concrete, plaster and stone facing. Such walls line the streets, separate yards and, during fighting in built-up areas, improvised cover arose from them. The corner suits tableaux from the Middle East from the nineteen-sixties to the present, where Merkavas, M113 carriers or modernized Magachs appear.
First plan the base out and sink the corner into it, so that the wall does not look as though it were standing on the surface. Fill the joint to the terrain with modeling filler and cover it with soil or rubble. When painting, start with a light sand base, then let a dark wash run into the joints and finally emphasize the edges by drybrushing. Complete the dust and the traces of rain with pigments from the bottom upward.
The element is supplied unpainted. Paints, filler and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
