A resin detail set from CMK for more experienced modelers. This is not a complete kit but an accessory which adds a faithfully rendered cooling system of the engine bay to a plastic model of the Jagdpanther tank destroyer. Fine castings capture the radiators, the fans and the related items with details that injection-molded plastic does not achieve.
The Jagdpanther was a German tank destroyer of the Second World War on the chassis of the Panther tank, armed with a powerful anti-tank gun. The Maybach engine needed effective cooling with pronounced radiators and fans in the rear part of the hull, which is a rewarding detail especially with the engine bay open.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Sand resin with protection of the airways. Assemble and paint the cooling system before closing up the hull; metallic shades and washes will bring out the structure of the radiators.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
