This resin detail set from the Italian maker Royal Model in 1:35 scale offers replacement wheels with the effect of being loaded by their own weight (so-called sagged wheels) for models of the Italian LMV Lince light armored vehicle. It is not a kit of the vehicle but an aftermarket accessory that replaces the plastic wheels from the box.
The wheels are cast with a realistically flattened contact area of the tire, which faithfully imitates the deformation of a tire under the weight of the vehicle. The tread pattern and the hubs are captured more crisply than ordinary plastic allows and heighten the impression that the vehicle really is standing on the ground.
Wash the mold release off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and join them with super glue. Fit the wheels so that the flattening faces the ground; paint them once a primer is on and add dust and mud with pigments.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
