Injection-molded plastic model of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-10 fighter in 1:72 scale from Revell. The model has a detailed surface with engraved panel joints, a cockpit with an instrument panel and landing gear that can be built either extended or retracted. The enclosed decals allow the aircraft to be finished in two color options. It is a straightforward kit that suits less experienced modelers as well.
The Bf 109 G-10 was one of the last and most capable production versions of the legendary German fighter. It was powered by the supercharged Daimler-Benz DB 605 engine and was set apart from the earlier Gustavs by a series of aerodynamic changes and, as a rule, by the lightened Erla clear-view canopy with better visibility. It was used in the closing phase of the Second World War, when it was among the fastest versions of the whole Bf 109 family.
Glue the parts with thin modeling cement for plastic and fill and sand the fuselage joints as needed. It pays to paint and shade the cockpit before you close up the fuselage. Prime the model before painting and spray in thin coats with an airbrush; bring out the late German camouflage with panel shading and a light wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
