An accessory set with photo-etched parts in 1:35 scale for a model of the M1128 MGS Stryker wheeled combat vehicle in its post-2010 form, intended for the Rye Field Model 5148 kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The M1128 Mobile Gun System is the version of the American Stryker wheeled armored vehicle with a 105 mm gun. The vehicle sits on an eight-wheel chassis, so it moves quickly along made-up roads and can still give the infantry direct fire support against fortified targets. The qualifier in the name points to the later form of the machine as it looked after 2010.
This is an accessory set with photo-etched parts in 1:35 scale, intended for the Rye Field Model 5148 kit. Photo-etch makes it possible to capture elements that come out too thick in plastic, so the model moves closer to the later appearance of the vehicle. Which parts the set holds and exactly where they belong on the model are given in the instructions supplied by the manufacturer.
Go through the set before you start building; some of the parts are usually prepared while the hull is still open. Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp blade on a hard surface and sand back the mark left behind. Make bends along the whole length of the fold at once, since repeated bending tires the metal. Glue them with super glue or with epoxy applied in the smallest amount. Degrease the metal surface before painting and lay a primer under the color, or the paint will not hold on the smooth sheet.
The kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
