A detail set in photo-etched metal and resin from the Italian company Royal Model, focused on the interior and the fighting compartment of the tank destroyer Marder III Ausf.H in 1:35 scale. The set is intended for the kit from Italeri and it replaces or completes the simplified parts from the box. It is not a standalone model of the vehicle but an accessory for advanced modelers.
The Marder III was a German tank destroyer of the Second World War built on the proven chassis of the Czechoslovak Panzer 38(t) tank. The Ausf.H version carried the 7.5 cm PaK 40 anti-tank gun in an open fighting superstructure. Thanks to the open hull the interior is clearly visible, so detailed equipment in the fighting compartment markedly raises the realism of the model.
Wash the resin parts to remove the mold release agent and cut the casting blocks off, and bend the photo-etch over an edge. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Finish and paint the interior before closing the hull; a wash and a dry brush will bring out the rivets, the levers and the ammunition boxes.
This is an accessory in photo-etch and resin. The base vehicle kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
