A resin, 3D-printed add-on set in 1:35 scale from Reskit. This is not a stand-alone model but a finely printed stowage basket mounted on the turret of the Israeli Merkava Mk.3 tank. It serves to complete the turret stowage realistically and differs from the stowage baskets on the rear of the hull.
The turret basket on the Merkava is used by the crew to stow personal gear, nets, camouflage and other material that a tank routinely carries in the field. The thin-walled resin part looks more delicate and more faithful than the thicker plastic moldings from the base kit and it is a rewarding place for a load of stowage in a diorama.
Wash the resin parts free of print resin residue, carefully cut off the print supports and sand the fine edges while protecting your airways. Bond with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The basket looks best when you fill it with a small load and bring it out with a wash and a dry brush; dust and mud pigments will add faithful weathering.
This is an add-on resin set, not a standalone model. The base Merkava Mk.3 kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
