A resin accessory set in 1:35 scale from the Czech manufacturer Hauler. It is not a kit but a diorama accessory — a collection of small supplies and foodstuffs with which you bring a supply scene, a field kitchen or a loaded vehicle to life. The parts are crisply cast, with faithfully rendered shapes and textures, and they work as general-purpose equipment for figures and vehicles alike.
Military provisions are a rewarding way to give a diorama life and a story. Supplies, containers and foodstuffs laid out suggest the rear areas behind the front, a break between actions, or resupply under way. Because this is general period material, it works across armies and periods — anywhere a scene should look inhabited and believable.
First wash the resin parts to remove any mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks carefully and test-fit them. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways when sanding resin. Small objects come into their own after priming, with layering of the colors, a fine wash in the recesses and a dry brush on the edges. Variety in the shades gives the scene a natural look.
This is a resin accessory set, not a kit. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
