The plastic kit Mk.V Female from Meng in 1:35 scale captures the British heavy tank of the First World War in its machine gun version.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British Mk.V Female heavy tank in 1:35 scale from Meng. The model is supplied as a set of parts to assemble and paint and complements the male variant of the same type. Pay attention to the characteristic rhomboid outline of the hull and to the side sponsons.
The Mk.V was among the most capable British tanks of the closing stage of the First World War. The Female version carried machine gun armament instead of gun sponsons and was intended mainly for dealing with enemy infantry and for supporting the gun-armed Male tanks. It shared the same running gear and power plant as the male version and became a symbol of the beginnings of armored vehicles.
Prepare the running gear and the lower tracks before you close up the hull. Use liquid modeling cement on the plastic, spray the surface with a primer and bring out the shading of the engraved lines with a wash. Mud and dust effects made with pigments underline the trench service.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
