A set of German M35/40 steel helmets, that is the Stahlhelm, in 1:35 scale from the Czech manufacturer Firma49, with a set of decals included. The helmets are made in resin by high-resolution 3D printing (SLA). This is a diorama accessory and an item of gear for figures, not a model in its own right.
The M35 steel helmet and its later M40 variant were the most widespread item of German army equipment in the Second World War. Their characteristic shape became iconic and is an unmistakable part of any period setting.
Wash the print resin residue off the resin parts and let them dry. Remove the print supports carefully and clean up the surfaces with respiratory protection. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue. Once the base has been applied, paint the helmets in a matching shade, put the decals supplied onto a smooth, preferably gloss base and seal them with a clear coat, and finish with a fine patina.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and figures are not included in the package.
