A detail set in photo-etched metal and resin for the Sd.Kfz.131 Marder II tank destroyer in 1:35 scale (part 1). An accessory for the Dragon kit, not a standalone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The first part of a detail set in photo-etched metal and resin from the Italian company Royal Model, intended for a model of the German tank destroyer Sd.Kfz.131 Marder II in 1:35 scale. The set is designed for the kit from Dragon and it refines the parts from the box with thin photo-etch and resin elements. It is not a standalone model of the vehicle but an accessory for advanced modelers.
The Sd.Kfz.131 Marder II was a German tank destroyer of the Second World War built on the chassis of the light Panzer II tank. In an open fighting superstructure it carried the 7.5 cm PaK 40 anti-tank gun and served as a mobile anti-tank weapon on the Eastern and the Western Front. The open hull lets the details of the fighting compartment show.
Bend the photo-etch over an edge, wash the resin parts to remove the mold release agent and cut the casting blocks off. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Given the part 1 designation, check whether you also want to add the follow-up set to the model; finish the interior before closing the hull.
This is an accessory in photo-etch and resin. The base vehicle kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
