1:35 Sd. Kfz. 231 Wheels

Wheels for the Sd.Kfz.231 (1:35, Royal Model)

This set from Royal Model contains resin replacement wheels for a model of the German Sd.Kfz.231 heavy armored car in 1:35 scale. It is not a model of a vehicle but a detail accessory for the chassis. The cast wheels replace the parts from the box with a more faithful rendition, with a fine tire tread pattern and hub detail.

What the set is for

• Replacing plastic wheels with resin ones of higher detail
• A fine tire tread pattern and a faithful rim
• A realistic look for a standing vehicle
• The option of dust and mud weathering on resin

Use

Wash the mold release residue off the wheels and cut off the casting blocks. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Treat them with a primer before painting; the tires weather well with pigments for a dusty or well-used look.

Who the set is for

• Modelers building the Sd.Kfz.231 in 1:35
• Those who want a more realistic chassis
• More advanced modelers used to resin

This is an accessory. The model of the vehicle, paints and glue are not included in the package.
