Replacement front axle wheels for the Sd.Kfz. 251 in 1:72 scale with an off-road tread pattern of the Fulda brand, listed as type 3.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Sd.Kfz. 251 was among the most frequently built German vehicles of the Second World War and appears in dozens of versions in 1:72 scale. At the front it was carried by a pair of steered wheels, at the rear by tracked running gear. The tires were supplied by several German makers and Fulda was one of them; its off-road tread with a coarse pattern differs from the road patterns at first glance.
Front axle wheels in 1:72 scale with the off-road pattern of the Fulda brand, listed by the maker as type 3. On a small model a wheel is one of the few areas where the sharpness of a surface can be told, so the exchange carries more weight in the result than the size of the part would suggest.
The parts are not polystyrene and cement for plastic has no effect on them; use super glue and degrease the bonded surfaces beforehand. Apply the primer and the paint in thin layers, as a heavy coat floods the tread pattern. Paint the hub in the shade of the vehicle and leave the tire darker. At the end, dust the wheel lightly with pigment from the bottom upward, so that it shows where the dirt was picked up from.
For builders of German half-tracked vehicles in 1:72 scale who want a particular period tire on their vehicle. The package does not hold a model, paints or glue, unless stated otherwise.
