The metal accessories Sd. Kfz. 234/4 in 1:35 scale refine a model of the eight-wheeled reconnaissance armored car with the 7.5 cm anti-tank gun. The set is intended for the Dragon kit.

The eight-wheeled reconnaissance armored car in its last and sharpest form is given metal refinement by this set exactly where the model is most in view: on the open fighting compartment, the fenders, the grilles and the brackets. It is made by the Italian brand Royal Model, which has long specialized in accessories for military equipment. Using it assumes a finished plastic kit. It is based on the dimensions of the Dragon kit.
The 234 family of heavy armored cars was built on an air-cooled twelve-cylinder Tatra diesel, a monocoque hull and drive to all eight wheels. The vehicle had a driving position at both ends, so it reversed as fast as it went forward, which was valued in a reconnaissance contact with the enemy. The 234/4 version came at the end of 1944 and carried a 7.5 cm anti-tank gun on an open mount without a turret. Only a few dozen were built and their deployment was limited to the closing battles.
The open space around the weapon calls for an order of work from back to front, otherwise you will block the brush's access. Fit the wheels at the very end, as that makes painting the chassis easier. Grade the mud traces by height, as on an eight-wheeler the deposit reaches higher than expected.
The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
