The continuation of the line, 1:35 Sd.Kfz. 251C - Part 2 (dragon), adds a further group of parts for the German half-track. The modeler obtains the vehicle separately.

The middle part of the three-part line follows on from the opening package and brings a further group of metal and cast elements for the German medium carrier. The division into several packages makes it possible to proceed in stages and not to buy at once equipment that a modeler will not use.
The half-track served above all so that infantry advanced together with the tanks and arrived in battle rested and sheltered from shell splinters. The crew got out at the rear through double doors, the front wheels were unsprung and steering was done with them together with the tracked chassis. It was precisely this combination that gave the vehicle agility in rough ground, but at the same time increased wear. The side armor protected only against shots from small arms and the open roof left the crew exposed from above; tactical habits followed from that, with the vehicle keeping behind a ridge and the infantry dismounting out of range.
Treat the metal surfaces with an adhesion primer before spraying; paint by itself holds on smooth brass hardly at all. Accentuate sharp edges with drybrushing in a lighter shade; small projections come out better than under a full coat. Peel the masking tape off slowly and at an angle, so that thin parts do not come away with it.
The package contains accessory parts only, not the vehicle.
