Injection-molded plastic kit of the Italian self-propelled anti-tank gun Semovente L40 da 47/32 in 1:35 scale from Italeri. The model is meant to be assembled and painted. The box also contains photo-etched parts, a decal sheet and illustrated instructions.
The Semovente L40 was created on the chassis of the L6/40 light tank by building a 47 mm gun of 47/32 caliber into a low casemate superstructure. It was a small, low and light vehicle and several hundred were built. The Italian army deployed it widely in the closing stage of the fighting in North Africa and then on the Italian and Balkan fronts, where it served as a mobile anti-tank and support weapon.
Cut the parts from the sprues with a sharp knife and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. Finish the running gear and the internal details before closing up the hull. We recommend a primer, an airbrush for the base camouflage and then washes and pigments for the dust and mud effects typical of the African and Italian battlefields.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
