This is a photo-etched metal detail set, that is an accessory which is not a model in its own right. It contains fine photo-etched parts for windshield wipers and rear-view mirrors intended for models of soft-skin vehicles and trucks of the Second World War period in 1:35 scale. It replaces the simplified plastic parts from the box with more faithful metal ones.
Wipers and mirrors are among the elements that come out too thick and flat in plastic. Thin photo-etched parts look more realistic to scale and markedly raise the level of detail of the cab and the front of a vehicle. The set is universal and suits a wide range of period trucks and light vehicles.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife or photo-etch scissors on a hard surface. Use a photo-etch bending tool or two blades for the bends. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate); a gel version gives more time to position a part. Degrease the metal before painting and coat it with a primer for metal.
This is a metal detail accessory. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
