A detailed steam crane in 1:35 scale intended as an accessory for dioramas. It is not a model of a military vehicle or of any equipment in its own right but a resin diorama structure from the Czech manufacturer CMK, with which you can bring a railroad station, a transshipment yard or a harbor scene to life. The parts are finely cast and once assembled they form an impressive focal point.
Steam cranes served to transship cargo, coal and materials at stations and in harbors. In a diorama they create a natural background and explain the logistics of a scene, whether it is a rear area of the Second World War front or a civilian setting. The accessory combines splendidly with wagons, track and figures of the same scale.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). It is advisable to paint the structure with an airbrush and then to bring out rust and wear with washes, pigments and a dry brush, because working machines tended to be heavily weathered.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other elements are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
